July 16: Jack's 60th Birthday Sitting & Dharma Celebration
Join these outstanding teachers and friends of Jack on his birthday in a day of sitting, walking, reminiscing, and storytelling in honor of Jack’s many years of service to the Dharma. Jack has invited each teacher to give a short 15-minute dharma talk on their favorite topic. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with others in the meadow and cushions and a blanket if you wish to sit on the lawn. Chairs will be available. Birthday cake will be provided.
In the spirit of generosity, this benefit is offered on a donation basis. We suggest a $60 donation in honor of Jack's birthday and in appreciation of the outstanding line-up of teachers. Whether you can give $6, $60 or $600, please be as generous as you can, as all proceeds will go to benefit our dwindling scholarship fund. We ask that you pre-register so we know how many participants to plan for.
